In short

  • The free check-up stores nothing on our servers. Your answers are numbers that live in your result’s link.
  • If you buy a report, the order keeps your answers as numbers only, and your email address for 90 days.
  • No account, no cookies of ours, no analytics, no ad trackers. We never sell your information.
  • Questions, or want your data deleted? Email support@sellerprofitdoctor.com.

1. What we collect

  • The free check-up. Your answers are numbers, such as your orders band and your item price, and they travel to your result inside the page’s address (the link). Our server reads them to work out your result and stores nothing. We never ask for your name, your email, your shop’s name or a login to your shop. Anyone you share the link with sees the same result.
  • The free calculators work the same way: we keep nothing you type into them.
  • When you buy a report. Your order keeps: your check-up’s answer codes (numbers only, the same ones as in your result link), the report you chose, your platform, Stripe’s ids for the payment, the order’s status (such as paid or refunded), the email address you gave Stripe, and the dates. Nothing else about you.
  • What you add on your report’s page. If you answer the report’s extra questions or list your products, we keep them with your order so the report can show them: the numbers, and the product names you type. They’re deleted with your order, and they’re never put in our logs.
  • Payment details. Stripe collects your card, name and billing address on its own payment page. We receive your email address, the amount and whether the payment went through. We never see or store your card number, and we don’t keep your name or address.
  • When an AI agent buys a report for you, it sends the same answer codes and the email address the report goes to, and we keep them in the same way.
  • Our free AI tools. When an AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) uses our free tools, it sends numbers and fixed choices, never names or emails. We use them to work out the answer and keep nothing. Our log keeps only the tool’s name, how long it took and whether it answered. To stop overload, the server counts calls per internet address for one minute, in memory only, and never logs or stores the address.
  • When you write to us, we keep what you send and our reply.
  • Technical details. Like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address, your browser’s details and the address of each page you open, and keeps them in its request logs for a short time.

The reports don’t read your platform statements yet. When the statement reader is ready, we’ll update this policy before it goes live.

2. How we use it

  • To work out your free result and write your report.
  • To take your payment through Stripe and show your report at its private link.
  • To email you about your report only: when it is ready (and again if you upgrade it), with its link, and, for the full audit, once on day 30 for its re-check.
  • To answer your questions and handle refunds.
  • To keep the service secure and stop fraud and abuse.
  • To keep our books and pay our taxes.

We send no newsletters or marketing emails, and our emails carry no tracking pixels: we don’t know whether you opened one. We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for advertising.

3. Who handles it for us

These companies run parts of the service for us, and each one gets only what its job needs:

  • Vercel hosts the website and runs its code. It handles every request to the site, including your IP address, your browser’s details and the page’s address (for a result page, the address holds your answer codes), in request logs it keeps for a short time, under its own privacy policy.
  • Neon hosts the database where orders are kept. It handles the order records described in section 1, including your email address until it is deleted, under its own privacy policy.
  • Stripe takes payments. It handles everything you type on its payment page (your email, name, billing address and card), the report you chose and its price, and our reference for the order, under its own privacy policy.
  • Resend sends our emails. It handles your email address and the email we send you, with your report’s link, under its own privacy policy.

For purchases on our website, Stripe acts as the seller of record (its Managed Payments service), so it also uses your payment details to work out and collect sales tax. On a purchase an AI agent makes for you, Stripe processes the payment and we are the seller.

The photos on our pages load from Unsplash’s image servers, which see your IP address and browser details, as any website you load something from does. Our pages tell your browser to send other websites only our site’s name, never the page’s full address, so your answers in a result link don’t reach them. Unsplash handles this under its own privacy policy.

If you use our tools through an AI assistant, the company behind it (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) isn’t one of our providers. It handles your conversation under its own privacy policy, and we receive only the numbers it sends to our tools.

The email provider of our support inbox holds the messages you send us. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety or our rights, or as part of a sale of our business, in which case this policy keeps applying to what we hold.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ad trackers or pixels. We don’t follow you across other websites, so we have nothing to switch off for a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal: you already get what they ask for.

Stripe’s payment page sets its own cookies, for security and to stop fraud, under Stripe’s policy.

5. How long we keep it

  • Your email address on an order: deleted 90 days after the order. We keep it that long for refunds, for help with your report and, for the full audit, the day-30 re-check.
  • The rest of the order (answer codes, report, platform, Stripe ids, status and dates), without your email: kept for our books and taxes, generally up to 7 years. Your report’s link keeps working during that time, unless the order is refunded or disputed or you ask us to delete it.
  • An order you started but didn’t pay for (you left Stripe’s payment page): deleted after 3 days. It holds your answer codes and no email address.
  • A payment link an AI agent asked for but nobody paid: deleted after 3 days. It holds the answer codes and the email address the agent gave for the report.
  • The free check-up, the calculators and the free AI tools: nothing is kept. Your result lives only in its link.
  • Request logs and tool logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short time, then deleted.
  • Messages you send us: as long as we need them to help you, and for our records.

6. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@sellerprofitdoctor.com from the address you paid with, and we’ll answer within 30 days. After 90 days we no longer hold your email, so send your report’s link, or the day you paid and the amount, to help us find the order.

When we delete an order, its report and its link stop working. We keep only what the law requires for our books: the Stripe payment ids, the amount and the date.

California and several other US states give their residents these rights in law. We give them to everyone, we won’t treat you differently for using them, and because we don’t sell or share personal information, there’s nothing to opt out of. Stripe holds your payment details under its own policy, and you can ask it directly about them.

7. Security

Every page and email link uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to our database is limited, and we never see or store card numbers. Each report’s link holds a long random code that can’t be guessed, but anyone who has the link can open the report, so share it only with people you trust. No system is perfectly secure; if something went wrong with your information, we would tell you.

8. Children

Seller Profit Doctor is for people who run a shop, and it isn’t meant for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has bought a report, write to us and we’ll delete the order.

9. Where your information is

We are a US company, and the site is made for sellers in the United States. Our providers keep information in the United States and other countries. If you use the site from the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your information is transferred to the United States, and our providers use recognized safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, when they move it.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we post the new version here with a new date and say at the top of the page what changed. We won’t use information we already hold in a new way that matters to you without asking you first.
