How it works

A minute at the kitchen table, then your month as a receipt.

The free check-up asks a few questions you can answer from memory. It works out what your shop keeps, finds where money leaks, and gives each leak a fix with what it’s worth at your numbers.

Three steps

  1. Step 1: Answer seven short questions

Orders, item price, materials, shipping and ads (one more if you run Etsy Ads). Your best guess is fine, and “Not sure” is an answer wherever there's a fair default.

  2. Step 2: Read your month as a receipt

Every line where money leaves the shop, in dollars, with the leaks marked in red.

  3. Step 3: Start with the fix that pays most

Each leak comes with its fix and what it's worth at your numbers, if orders hold.

What we ask

For Etsy shops, seven screens, and an eighth if you run Etsy Ads.

  • Where you sell most
  • About how many orders a month, as a range
  • What a typical item sells for
  • What materials and supplies cost for one item, or a rough share of the price
  • What buyers pay for shipping, and what the label costs you
  • Whether your shop has passed $10,000 in any 12 months (it sets your Offsite Ads rate)
  • Whether you run Etsy Ads, and about how much a day
  • Your Etsy Ads ROAS, if you run ads

What you get, free

On one page, right after the last question.

  • A grade in plain words: Healthy, Good with room to improve, Watch, Leaking or Losing money. With too few answers it says so, and names the answers that would let more checks run
  • What each order keeps, and what the month keeps, before paying yourself
  • Your month as an itemized receipt
  • Your three biggest leaks, sure dollars first, each with its fix, what the fix is worth if orders hold, and how far orders could fall before the fix leaves you worse off
  • Every number we assumed, with a link to change it
  • The date of the Etsy fees we used, with links to Etsy's own pages

How we count

Fixed formulas, no AI

Every number comes from written formulas run on your answers. No AI computes a number. The formulas and the rates are the same for every shop.

Etsy's published fees, with dates

Listing, transaction, processing and Offsite Ads fees come from Etsy's own policy pages. Each rate carries its source and the day we checked it, and we check them all again every six months.

Defaults are labeled

When you say “Not sure”, we use a fair default and say so on your result, with a link to change it. Packaging is $1 until you give yours; the Offsite Ads share is Etsy's typical 10%.

Fixes say what they assume

Each fix's dollar value assumes your orders hold. Next to it, a risk line says how far orders could fall before the fix leaves you worse off.

The Etsy fees we use were checked on October 13, 2026, and we check them again by April 13, 2027. See every rate and its source.

Your answers

  • No login, no sign-up, and no connection to your shop.
  • We never ask for your name, email or shop link to run the check-up.
  • Your answers travel to your result as numbers in the page link. Anyone you share that link with sees the same result.

The free result shows your three biggest leaks. Two reports, each paid once, show every leak that applies with the steps to fix it: the profit report at $19.99 and the full audit at $29.99, with a 14-day any-reason refund. Checkout opens soon. There is no subscription.
